We met and fell in love in Yosemite, in the town of Wawona. On May 4, 2025 we renewed our wedding vows in the Yosemite Valley Chapel. We work here, we thrive here, Yosemite will forever be our home. We're so happy you're here!

A love story that led to her true passion! Back in 2010, the year she married Anthony, a Yosemite local, she realized her life was destined to intertwine with the breathtaking beauty of this iconic place. Her artistic journey in makeup and hairstyling blossomed from her big-hearted desire to create the perfect morning for a bride... and that's how M by Mickie was born!
Turning her love for beauty into a way to help brides, she set out on a mission to elevate her luxury services. Knowing she needed to immerse herself in all things Yosemite, as this breathtaking wedding destination deserves a beauty experience that matches its grandeur! Considered a bridal beauty expert for Yosemite, M by Mickie is the sole beauty vendor for all of Yosemite National Park, a tremendous honor that she does not take lightly. Best of the Best! I was truly blown away at the incredible artistry Mickie demonstrated on my wedding day. At 4:30am on the dot, Mickie was at my door, ready to go. Her kind and warm hearted manner instantly put my wedding day nerves at ease. She carefully reviewed the entire plan and answered all my questions. Mickie is incredibly reliable and you can count on her to show up for you exactly when she said she would. Her skill in both hair and make-up is really outstanding. I had a very specific look for my hair in mind and she actually made it look even better than my highest hopes. When I looked back at wedding photos, I actually couldn’t believe I looked as good as I did. She went above and beyond and made me feel so incredibly beautiful on such an important day. When it came to make-up, I wasn’t too sure what I even wanted because I don’t typically wear any make-up at all. Mickie did a very natural look which came out incredibly beautiful in all the photos. She was also patient with me as I changed my mind on the eye color at the last minute. Mickie’s primary concern was that I loved the way I looked and I certainly did.
